Okay so to start this was just one crazy day! Mustard explosions, water splashed, crying leaving the DMV, My pop making a Nike reference at the Nursing Home, then saving a kid while he got jumped.
Exploding Mustard:
So at work I was feeling nausea and gross so I was trying to do a bunch of random small jobs while waiting to start making lunch for the kids, what a kick in the butt that was. So I chose to create more room in the refrigerator for milk, I condensed different salad dressings and such (exciting I know! ha ha). I then went for the mustard, the big refilling container was in there, I grabbed it by the lid. Yeah you guess it, the lid wasn't tight on the bottle so the entire jug fell to the ground, exploding. I stood there in shock for 2 minutes and then looked around. It was all over me, the refrigerator (that I had scrubbed clean the day before) the cabinetry, the carpet, the phone, clean dishes I just got done doing, the allergy lists, EVERYTHING! I wiped the nasty mustard off of my face, arms and what I could off of my clothes and went into the Pre-K room to get Maura. I said "Hey Maura, you want a good laugh? Come, come look what I just did." She walked in and immediately began laughing in shock. She then left and went to get the camera! I started to clean it up and then realized the shampoo cleaner wasn't in the day care, I called up Kris (my boss) she laughed at me and said I was screwed and had to use bleach and a rag.. That was fun.
DMV Walk Out:
First off, the people there are rather rude, mostly the security/front desk. I went to renew my state I.D. I was given the number 808 and they were already on 987 so I went back to desk, which now the bitchy lady was there. I said, I'm not here to renew my license or anything like that I just need to renew my photo I.D. so, she took my number and gave me a 129 number to the photo side. I waited another 20minutes to get my number called. I got up there and the man said I was in the wrong place, that I needed to be on the other side to pay first then to get my photo done. The rude security lady decided she had to copy something the moment I got up there, the man said well i'm sorry honey she gave you the wrong number. I said okay, the lady was like that's what she asked for I ain't do nothing wrong, she wanted it i gave her it. I was so mad at this point. I was there for an hour of waiting, for nothing!
So, I was going to get a new number and re-do my entire process, but then tear's started I have no idea where they came from. Normally, I would have given the lady a hard time with an attitude because she did it on purpose, but I cried instead? I have no idea. My emotions are a mess, especially these past few days
My Nike referring Pop-Pop:
After the DMV I decided to go to the nursing home to visit my Pop before his return home. His Physical Therapist came for his last treatment while my mom and I were there. I was kind of happy I got to see him during his therapy. He hates it, but he is a stubborn man. I was wearing my blue Nike Just Do It shirt. We finally got him to put his shoes on and go for a walk around the nursing home instead of going into the gym. While we were walking he was like I hate that gym place, that's the last place I want to go. I said "Pop that's my life! What are you saying you hate my career?" He was like "yes, yes i do" hahha I love him. We got outside he made it all the way to the bench which is an improvement for him, when we were sitting the P.T. tried to get him to throw up and catch a bean bag he refused to it, the stubborn man he is. So we waited a few minutes and tried to get him to get back up and go to the PT room to practice opening and closing the refrigerator door.. he did not want to go. A few moments later he said "Its like Nike; Just Do It, I guess right?" I was in shock ha ha. He stood up and began walking back. Gotta love him.

Kids These Days :
Okay, so I don't know if some kids attract danger or they seek it but either way wow! Last night my friend Mike picked me up in his new AWESOME jeep, (yes, I am extremely jealous). Anyways, we were going to pick up his dog from his mom's house and then take Larry home and go out to a bar or something.. well there was a little pit stop along the way.
We turned into Bristol Pike to head towards their apartment to drop them off and all of a sudden we see a car pulled over at the train tracks. Next thing I know the Jeep is slammed into park we said Oh, Shit! then things went a little crazy from there. Mike grabbed his pistol loaded it and jumped outta the car, I saw three kids beating the shit out of another kid on the INSIDE of the fence for the train. First off, what posses someone to jump another person talk about unfair fighting. Second, on train tracks? Really though? Wow.
Anyway back to the scene, there was a car in-front of us and girls along the road looking scared and confused. Mike scared the kids who were jumping this kid away and a different guy jumped the fence, with this mean look, Larry and I thought he was going to attack Mike, which he would have been sorry if he had. No lie, as he was jumping the fence a train blew through. So the man jumping the fence, shook Mikes hand and thanked him. We found out the kid getting jumped was with the girls and they were looking for their friend who was trying to commit suicide. How awful. Mike came back to the Jeep and told me to give him the flash light, they seen the one guy talking to other people on the tracks a little behind us. Mike went to check it out, luckily no one was hit by the train. We made sure someone called the cops and then we went on our way. What a crazy night.
